It's not boring, but I wouldn't mind a few simple rules changes to...
... speed it up a bit.
Examples:
Once the batter steps in the box, he cannot step out until his at bat is finished.
Pitchers cannot hold the ball for more than 15 seconds.
Visits to the mound by the catcher or other players be limited in number like time outs in other sports are.
Baseball is a great game, but it is hard to get too invested in each outing when there are at least 162 a year and they take 4 hours to complete.
