Recruiting is important, but so is taking the talent you have and doing something with it. BYU is never going to have Alabama's roster, so you have to be able to coach up and succeed with average talent. And no one is suggesting BYU has zero talent right now. A similar roster has won a bunch of games in the past. So if all of the sudden they start sucking, its likely not due to the lack of talent on the field.
