Detmer has not been trying anything. Lack of creativity has been one of the big problems with the offense. There is all kinds of stuff out there that Ty hasn't tried, to quit with the "tried everything" excuse. Nor has he tried benching his starting QB for bad performance when it has been very much deserved, based on adjusted QB rating.

Ty does have levers he can and should pull.  Saying he has tried everything is factually wrong, and not even close to what is happening on the field.
