I had a professor at BYU who said Cecil didn't give a crap about sports at
BYU. He said he gathered that from his personal interactions with him and what others said.
Obviously idk how true thst is and I am not trying to make believers out of you. Just sharing what I heard and take it with a grain of salt.
Makes me wonder if Cecil wasn't exactly helpful in big12 talks the first go around. Not saying he sabotaged it or anything like that but wonder if his mindset played a part. This is not me saying it did, just wondering.
