Utah was a national power with Majerus. You think Reid could compete with Stanford, Kentucky, Kansas for out of state LDS recruits? That's like harping on Rose for not getting Jabari.
However, Reid did get Bradley, Cuff, and both his sons. All four of which were top recruits.
