yeah, I dont buy that assessment of it being a result of "LDS culture"
We've had plenty of past teams that didnt have that problem. Guys like TJ Haws, etc were always emotional.
Out best player right now is Jax, and he, even before coming to BYU, was described as being really stoic and chill. BYU didn't do that to him. In fact, one game he got super emotional, and literally got a tech called against him for it.
This was a factor of our team makeup and nothing else. Our primary leaders on the team have never been to the Tourny and had no expectations for it.
