The sort of sad thing is that this is the first year that Embiid was actually
having a better season than Jokic. I know he won last year, but the narrative was can we give Jokic 3 MVPs when he has never won a title (a somewhat silly argument as it is a regular season award, but it is what it is).
But Embiid was playing out of his mind this year and then went down.
