I don't think being the #1 seed necessarily means you're the best team. (As a Jazz fan, I can attest to this with some certainty.) The Nuggets have routinely played with their food this season, only to pull away for good in the 4th quarter. After the most dominant playoff run since Golden State's ridiculous 16-1 run in 2018, the Nuggets seem to have decided they don't need to wear themselves out in the regular season and are staying fresh for the playoffs. OKC is young and hungry and has something to prove, so I think they've been more focused on a night-to-night basis and have played harder.

As for surrounding cast, both Jokic and SGA have strong teams, though I'd say the Nuggets are a bit stronger and certainly more experienced. That said, neither of them are propping their respective teams the way Luka is.
