No issue with that as long as someone has a plan and isn't shortchanging other
parts of their financial life because of it. I am not a big fan of Dave Ramsey, but heard a great quote a few months ago:

"Anyone trying to get out of debt [or saving for a house down payment] shouldn't see the inside of a restaurant unless they are working there."

I have seen too many people paying 20 something percent on credit card interest rate and the main driver is dining out. Crazy. I have also heard many people complain that they aren't saving enough for retirement or can't afford to save for a house down payment, but going out to eat regularly. Crazy.

If you have a solid financial plan and like spending your discretionary income on dining out, then it is just a "different strokes for different folks". People like spending their money on different things.
