Here is what I do. Set up screen time, deleted Safari, restricted downloading

Of apps, only allow approved apps. Can’t have their phones in their room alone.

So, can they get around these? Maybe, but they know the rules and consequences. Plus, I’d rather have them ease into having a phone under my supervision. I can only imagine how bad it would be if they leave home and then get their first phone with no restrictions. I’d rather try and teach them good habits with technology because it will be a part of their whole life.
