overpay any one single player. BYU believes it undermines team chemistry. I happen to agree with their philosophy on that. So they, more or less, evenly distribute the money. At least that's what Knell implied.

I'm not sure why you like Jax so much. He's not nearly as athletic as you think. He struggled bringing the ball up the court as a backup PG. He had a lot of turnovers; and when he did bring it up, he was not effective getting the team into its sets. He's too passive. I don't know if he's weak or just lacks aggression. But he was fairly easy to push off his spots.

He shoots well as a catch and shoot guy; but off the dribble he's not great, which means he can't really create his own shot and he's not great at getting to the rim.

I'm not sure if he's slow or just not engaged; but he struggled staying with the quicker players in the league defensively. His defense was not great. His offense is inefficient.

I would like to have him back. He's a good shooter (not great); but in now way is he worth more than Hall or Saunders. Nor is he worth disrupting team chemistry by being the exception to the NIL philosophy.
