Are you saying there were 10,000 unsold seats for all 18 or so home games?
That's pretty impressive, especially when you consider the team was expected to be 13th in the conference and was coming off back-to-back 5th-place WCC performances.
Also, ticket sales money goes to the BYU athletic department.
NIL deals come from additional donations (outside of tickets and booster club donations) from fans.
Even if Robinson returning guaranteed a sell-out for every home game, it wouldn't necessarily increase the amount of NIL funds available.
