They can't eliminate NIL. Schools can't unfairly profit from an athlete's NIL,
nor can they prohibit the athlete from profiting from their NIL.


The only way to "solve" NIL is to become a regulated professional league with player drafts and contracts that restrict player movement.


Lots of obstacles to that, though. Can't have academic requirements and restrict player movement. Also, the big schools would be giving up their money advantage. They'll drive themselves bankrupt before they do that.
