A lady in our ward died a couple years ago
Snorkeling a few hours off the plane in Hawaii.

She was fine one minute and next thing you know she was floating lifeless in the water. Very sad. She was in her 70s—but very active for her age.

Her husband and son were a few yards away and didn’t even realize anything was wrong until they saw a commotion in the beach—someone else had found her, towed her to shore, and they were doing CPR.

While there doesn’t need to be a law, this is a known problem with older tourists in Hawaii
