I’m this type of person, and I don’t do any of the things you say
I believe is growing as a person and furthering my own learnset, but it ain’t for my company, it’s for myself and my own potential.
My company recently set a massive goal that everyone has a part to play in, and then a week later implemented a policy that completely contradicts that goal in order to make a better bottom-line for stockholders.
I’ll set goals for myself. My company doesn’t care about me, and I don’t care about my company beyond if they do well then I stay employed. There is no corporate loyalty anymore, because loyalty isn’t incentivized anymore.
