Here is the problem with framing this as a Racial issue, and I would think Darron would understand this quite well, saying BYU is racist, is like saying BYU is a piece of crap.
I don't care how much sugar you put on top of it, you will never be able to convice me to eat it.

I think it will have that kind of an effect on non-LDS AA players, regardless of what Bronco et all do in the recruiting process.

I am not saying I think it will work like that for all non-LDS AA players, but for some it will.

I think that is what Darron did, which is something that hasn't been done since WYO had the black arm band group back in the 70's.

Sure coaches would use our the 70's against us and say BYU was racist, and try to use current examples of players to prove their point, but I can't think of any thing in the media in the last 25 years that has so blatantly pointed the racist finger at BYU like this has.

An 18 year old could look past the 70's, but I doubt he will look past an article written in 2011 (even though most of the events it references are from '04)
