Funny story about my neighbor regarding this topic
My dad does some recruiting here in California. My neighbor across the street (non-lds) is a Sophomore stud running back at Del Oro high near Sacramento.

Kelly Poppinga and my pops just met with him a few weeks ago and he's become quite interested in BYU. Later on my dad was talking to his father and he said, "Brandon is really excited about BYU, but he has some concerns...does he have to go on his mission before he plays four years or afterwards?" My dad just started laughing and had to explain to him that he is not required to go on a mish. He thought if he went to BYU it was required. Pretty funny.

This kid could be a stud. He just tore it up at the NIKE Football Combine in Oakland (Laney College). He was one of the top underclassmen performers. Runs a 4.6
