Perspectives in reality...
If we call ourselves "white boys" then we only reinforce the stereotype. Thus, we stereotype ourselves.
In reality, when people think of BYU they think of the LDS church. We (the LDS church) are NOT a bunch of white boys! 14 million members worldwide, 52,000 missionaries, 127 countries with family history centers, the BOM in 166 languages and that all comes down to us being a bunch of "white boys". Sheesh!
My Colombian wife will be so happy to know!
