Call me what you will and believe what you want but I have it on good source that the Big 12 was highly concerned with what is perceived by them as direct funding of BYUs athletic program by the church. Why this issue was not easily cleared up and moved past, I dont know, but it wasnt. The Big 12 is now talking with TCU and it is serious enough for TCU to start looking at getting out of their Big East deal.
