You'll have to forgive Utah fans if we act a little angry
I'm sure Utah fans have said some pretty dumb things. Utah fans are pretty upset right now. And can you blame them? Consider the following:
Utah is the 12th winningest program in all of college basketball.
Utah is in the PAC 12 while BYU plays in the WCC.
Utah was in the National Championship game just 12 years ago.
At one point Utah had the longest home winning streak in all of college basketball game.
This is an absolutely the lowest point in Utah history. Utah should rarely, if ever, lose to BYU. When a team from the PAC 12 plays a home game against a WCC team, the PAC 12 team should destroy the WCC team. Not the other way around.
Yet today (and the last several years for that matter) BYU destroyed Utah. How Utah has fallen so low is beyond logic. How could they be this bad? At one point, Utah, UCLA and Arizona were the top 3 most premier teams in the west. Now, Utah can't even win home games against Montana State, Cal State-Hickville and BYU.
If you had told me 5 years ago that in 2011, Utah would be considered the worst team in all of college basketball, I would have sent you to the hospital. Now, Utah will be lucky to win one more game all year.
So just remember Utah fans are hurting right now. Take what they say with a truck load of salt.
