I guess how you view the Utes basketball team is how the Cougars should view their football team. If you would have told me 10 years ago that the Utes could finish ranked in football more than once every 30 years I would have sent you to the hospital. For Utah football to be mentioned with BYU football just hurts every Cougar fans ears, but we have to acknowledge that the Utes have had two really good years now. I'm sure the Utes will eventually turn their basketball program around and take back that coveted 3rd place spot in the state of Utah, but until that happens SLCC and UVU are considered above your team. I don't see the Utes ever reaching BYU or USU's level while Dave and Stew are running their programs, but who knows if the right coach and recruits come a long I'm sure the Utes could beat Weber St. a few times.
