week 10
- Nov 3, 2012 bye

Beating top-10 ND soundly on NBC and then thrilling audiences with a come-from-behind victory against a decent GT opponent will really help BYUs ranking and national perception, especially going into these last three games where they only have one ESPNU game, a late-night ESPN2 game and a BYUtv game. Not surprisingly they jump 3 spots in the polls and the corresponding BCS rankings. A 3-0 finish is a near certainty and you already have Sportscenter and other ESPN personalities debating how high an 11-1 BYU team should be ranked, given their only loss was @ a good BSU team and without their starting QB. Most acknowledge that since it appears no non-AQ will qualify this season, BYU should get in, but it would take the right matchup because most BCS conference just care about eyeballs and butts and BYU, despite their national following, cant bring it like some other programs.
