Like I said, BYU wasn't invited to the Big XII, so
how could Utah be following them to the BCS? That is the point.

In fact BYU wants to follow Utah to the BCS so baddly their teeth hurt, and their fans want it so baddly, they make up fake Big XII logos with BYU on them, and post them on CB multiple times daily.

Yes, BYU has a National Championship. That is a great accomplishment for sure. Where they the first ever? So, BYU is following others?

Too bad it was over a quarter of a century ago.

By the way, what to you think of Pitt? Think they are a great program? BYU can't touch their history. Pitt has something like 7 National Championships in football. Not just one. And yes, they have a Doke Walker winner, a ton of QBs who have gone to the NFL(Dan Marino ring a bell?), a Heisman trophy winner (ever hear of Tony Dorsett? Had a little better NFL career than Ty Detmer).

Pitt is not thought of as great except maybe by their own fans.

What has BYU done for anyone lately? Here are the non-AQ teams who have played in BCS bowls: Utah (2), Hawaii (1), Boise State (2), TCU (2). That is 7 BCS bowls with Non-AQ teams. Seems doable right? BYU really hasn't been close even. In fact, just 2 seasons ago, BYU went 6-6 in the regular season and barely made a bowl game. They lose to the good teams and beat the worst teams in college football.

BYU is a lot like Pitt at this point, but with far fewer National Championships.

Good luck in 2012. Your team will need it.
