The fact is that the vast majority of cougarboarders post less about the preservation of tradition, and more about Max Hall being right, and Whit being a classless jerk.
Your fellow cougarboarders bemoan Utah dropping the rivalry as arrogant and shortsighted, yet they (and you, Mr. Abe Froman) fail to explain how Utah's abandonment of the rivalry with BYU is different from BYU dropping a decades old football and basketball rivalry with Utah State.
Pointed question to Mr. Abe Froman... How is Utah dropping its rivalry with BYU different than BYU dropping its rivalry with Utah State?
