RE: Too bad Utah is going to increase their numbers by $18 mil per year
18 mil?

So correct me, but the Pac12 media deal is a gradual thing that works up to the big numbers the last years-in the 2020s.

I assume now a 100% share is in the 14-17 million range currently. The new deal includes the championship game? And the P12 net Internet streams and cable channel, have only estimates been released? I think I remember reading Larry Scott it will be break even at first.

That said Utah will get more income in media than BYU, probably in the next two years. I'm assuming your half pay out will be in this years numbers and full will be in 2014.

My guess is BYU brings in about 8 million a year from ESPN, BYUTV, and their WCC contract. The have more fans and bigger stadiums that bring in millions more. Utah will have a slight edge in a couple years, but BYU has had an edge over Utah in money for years on average and performance may be correlated partially. The key is the next couple of years is winning and going to bowls in 2013. And to a lesser extent can Utah BBall get better and BYU basketball stay better.
