I understand your frustration.

I also think you vastly over state the problem with the same people hijacking threads. I have pointed this out, but there is a difference between people trolling and giving honest opinions that a lot of people just happen to be at odds with. I have seen tons of examples of people I know giving their honest opinions, but were called a troll for it. Honestly I think a lot of people on here have trouble between distinguishing a troll from an honest opinion some times, and some people are so thin skinned that they can't handle anyone disagreeing with them.

But yes, hijacking threads does happen some times.

The problem is that most people will use the recip ignore simply because they disagree with someone, not necessarily because that person is a troll.
