I don't see the problem of allowing people to limit who sees their own posts and insights. If every post was simply a matter of "If X, then Y" it would work as you proposed. But the reality is quite different, with different (passionate) groups on CB. We'll have to agree to disagree. I think the recip ignore has value and would reduce trollish behavior, especially between certain factions on CB.
