I had it in my 40s. best thing I ever did, but after a 4 day honeymoon of "this isn't so bad" it turned south.
the pain. super weight loss. But ER admission and three days in the hospital when I sprung "a leak" and they had to cauterize.
I am so glad I had it done, but it was every. bit. as hard as they said.

My wife had hers out 3 weeks ago. Plan on not being able to eat for nearly 2 weeks and losing about 5lbs
