Everyone is different
I had mine out last year. I was eating normal after 5 days. Also had my Uvula cut out. But I've also heard it's the worst pain ever...

My wife had hers out 3 weeks ago. Plan on not being able to eat for nearly 2 weeks and losing about 5lbs
