Yep, “strength of schedule” will exclude only non P5 teams with sole exception of ND

I think strength of schedule arguments against G5 teams actually holds some merit. But under the 4 team playoff no P5 outsider while remaining an outsider will ever make it to the playoffs by making their schedule harder. Make it an 8 or 16 team playoff and then “busters” become more of a reality.
