BYU was like 9 points away from going undefeated as an independent just 2 years
ago. And it wasn't even a great team.
It will happen at some point or BYU will at least get very close, but for any team to go undefeated a lot of pieces have to fall into place. UCF had an incredibly weak schedule and they won every game. Thats good for them, but they benefited a great deal from that easy schedule.
