BYU can improve a TON by improving their depth. It's not so much the talent at the top that kills BYU. It's the lack of depth for when those top guys get suspended, or injured, or leave, or don't turn out, or whatever reason it is that makes the depth guys have to fill in. Depth has always been the problem.
And they're improving the team depth. So that's a good start as far as getting BYU where they need to be, so long as they keep getting a decent amount on the top end, which they still are same as always really. Recent 4 star QBs, LBs, DL. Much more highly recruited OL. Etc.
