Saints would’ve been able to run down the clock almost all the way before kicking a FG. Also would’ve had a chance for a game ending TD. Rams would’ve gotten the ball with less than 20 seconds. Barring a horrific missed field goal or turnover, that call changed the outcome. Not really much the Rams could do outside of letting them score a TD to get the ball back immediately, which sounds unlikely.
