Does bunching tithing benefit you even if you easily clear the SD every year
Between my home and my tithing/FO I easily clear the standard deduction amount every year. However, I started wondering of there still might be some value to me in "bunching" charitable donations. If I put 2 years together then I would get all of the tithing as a deduction one year and then get the difference between my Mortgage interest and SALT deduction and the standard deduction the following year as a "free" deduction. However, if my SALT deduction plus the mortgage interest deduction > the standard deduction that applies to me, there would be no benefit to bunching.

I assume this is accurate. Anyone confirm if this is the right analysis or if there's more to it?
