Clearly, you have no interest in the 12 regular season games and are happy playing 12 snoozer, uninteresting, cream puff opponents every year, year after year, for decades where nobody cares about the outcomes of the games just so that once every 3 or 4 decades we have a chance to show up at the big boy club to get our butts kicked by teams stacked top to bottom with 4 and 5 star recruits.

The actual path to winning another national championship is to play the best teams possible so that we can get better players who want to come to BYU. It's to slowly build a program that can compete for 2 or 3 games at the end of a long season with the SEC and B10 blue bloods in a playoff format. It's not some fantasy world where we play a bunch of cream puffs and somehow think that would prepare us to run the tables in playoff scenario.
