for just playing a bunch of exhibition games as an Indy?

Wow. I am trying to understand that POV but just can’t get there. It’s one thing to prefer the exhibition games of Indy to the chance at an NY6 bid (which we would have in the G5) but to prefer them to the chance at a playoff spot and possible Natty... really hard to understand.

I also think if the playoff expanded and included a G5 autobid, and BYU didn’t join a G5, our recruiting would tank. You want to talk about irrelevant- being the only team in the country that starts the season ineligible for a Natty would make us completely irrelevant.
