One tiny quibble: The ball that he completed last Sunday was technically
underthrown, but it was a 50 yard completion. Not often do you see a QB hit a guy in stride 50 yards down the field. There are long pass plays, but they often involve more YAC.

We'll soon be finding out if your concerns about him are warranted. If Payton goes with him as QB1, I doubt that there

I would love to get to see and find out next year. He looks like he might be ready. Which I wouldn’t have said before

At BYU, not consistently since at least 2009. In the NFL, I see it a lot.

His pass last Sunday went 57 yards in the air.

63 yards would have been perfect (or 0.5 sec sooner) but still a good result.

The little side step he had to make hurt the timing.

100% right. Not a strength issue. But IMO timing is more important than raw arm strength for a QB. Needs to go a little

Not at all. I’m very pumped for Taysom. This post focused on the only unknowns, but even that was meant to say, “these

Let’s be honest, the rest of his life is going to be awesome regardless of whether his NFL career is long as a starter,
