His pass last Sunday went 57 yards in the air.
That's longer than any throw all season from 9 teams and longer than Brees has thrown for years.
Honestly, the throw was late more than underthrown, especially to a guy with 4.3 speed. Not the easiest thing in the world to basically go in cold in terms of throwing the ball and be perfect on a 60 yard bomb. He's got enough arm. And he completed the pass.
