I honestly don’t get it, I buy room temp soda all the time
But maybe this is like the McDonalds ice-cream machine never working, everything has to be perfect in order for these new machines to actually work

The ice helps cool the syrup and water which does help it retain the carbonation.

They usually run the water and syrup lines THROUGH the ice on top of the machine
