Yeah, the ultimate consequences of a play are important, but not the only factor. Otherwise there would be no plays on
the list outside of 1984. No play from any other year would have prevented a national championship without it.
So I think you have to take the play for what it was and what it meant in the moment. For that I think this list is pretty great.
