I stand corrected. However, this line is in extremely poor taste -
"It's a black kid that committed early to a predominantly white school." as a reason a kid decommitted. Everything else written in defense of the decommitment is fine and enough, and really, the kid doesnt owe us an explanation. To bring race into it is just lashing out and in extremely poor taste. Even if it is true, we didnt need to know that about him.
