I see the players whooping and hollering and it naturally is going to give the impression they are excited and the change is positive. A little enthusiasm can wane though. You need driving them and it looks like Wintrich is doing it. The comments from Anae were pretty telling. Off-season the players were pretty much on their own and didn't have anyone holding their feet to the fire. In today's college game that isn't acceptable and Wintrich pretty much said that in the video.
If nothing else this sounds like a training program that a major university should be employing. Results may not be dramatic, but if they improve at all the program is better off. I believe the team will be in better shape and better prepared come Fall. Whether it translates into better performance and more victories remains to be seen.
