I would like to hear what reasons you and others think are legitimate enough for you to have the ability to control what posts someone else sees. And it's not just your posts they won't see, they won't be able to see the posts of people who respond to you, people who don't have them ignored and don't want to stop them from seeing their posts.
Why is a simple ignore not enough in most cases?
Why can't you just make a reasonable case to the mods when you think a recip might actually be warranted?
Why not make an FO post if you want to control who can see that particular thread? You can have 80 people on your FO, 100 if you sign up for CB premium, that's a lot of people you can have a discussion with outside of gen pop.
