do with the unprofessional path Sitake followed in the very public way he dismantled Ty this past season. He should have dealt with it differently. I have to believe that by this point even Sitake would have to admit that he screwed up. Bagging on your OC repeatedly in interviews broadcast around the world is beyond classless. That's my point. Sitake did not have to go where he went in the way he responded to frustration, challenges and disappointment with his team's performance. I was at games like ECU and what I saw on the sideline was a largely lifeless team, with little to no passion - on both sides of the ball. Our defense got rolled. But, Sitake was much more selective and guarded in his comments on that side of the ball. It was a disturbing pattern that worsened and became more obvious with each game last season.
I have met Sitake since he became HC. I was very impressed. He comes off as the greatest of guys. That makes what he did to Ty so publicly all the more disappointing.
