I remember the old farts saying the same thing about Gen X, which I am a part of

As I got older, it started to change. Now my dad says he can't believe how hard all his kids work. He's been retired for a long time now, but he now claims he never worked late, went home for lunch all the time, rarely worked more than an 8 hour day. He thinks I'm a workaholic, and most of his other kids too.
