And as much as we like to pretend it's not true, video games can be a serious issue. There are people who skip eating and sleeping or even necessary trips to the bathroom over video game addiction. Many parents think they're no more dangerous or addictive than reading comic books and I think they're mistaken. I believe the danger is more similar to something like porn addiction or gambling addiction.
