more significant.
The most glaring is our lack of recruiting resources, not only compared to P5 programs, but also programs like Utah State. According to him, Utah State has recruiting staff whose primary job is to reach out to kids on a daily basis and show them love, and that they significantly outnumber BYU in recruiting staff.
Another issue he mentioned yesterday is nutrition. He told a story yesterday about how when he was at Utah they had a protein station where you could load up on all the supplements you needed for your workouts. Then when he got to BYU, Adam Hine held a players only meeting because someone had taken his protein powder that he has saved to buy himself.
These kinds of things are simple upgrades that BYU could make that wouldn’t require millions of dollars more in investment.
