The HC normally only talks to recruits after they are offered.

Recruits talk to the coaches that are responsible for their area of the country. As they advance through the recruiting proccess they may talk to the position coach (if they are a LB, but the recruiting coach for that area is the oline coach... they may get a call/txt from the LB coach depending on how high-up the kid is on the recruiting board).

day-to-day recruiting is done by assistant coaches and recruiting coordinators
