My father was a pharmacist and I discussed this drug with him last night
and apparently they have already used this drug to treat certain types of pneumonias so it's not a new thing, but I don't know how it works. The combination with azithromycin is interesting as well.

There are a ton of caveats on that drug for COVID but at least there MIGHT be something already available to combat it
