According to them they do - Taiwan does and that’s China. And if SMIC somehow does catchup
the deterrent of disrupting TSMC will be gone. Or if they do to Taiwan what they did to Hong Kong, what is America then going to do?
It’s not a wise position to be in for America. It’s just too precarious and we are far too dependent on TSMC.
